Hello Truck Owners!

Back by popular demand is the Cabela's Jacked Up Truck Show. Bring your rides over for an afternoon of 4x4 fun.

This event is FREE to the public.

Pre-Registration: FREE until July 25th at Cabela’s Customer Service counter in Charleston, WV.
Day of Event Registration: 9am – 11am, $10 registration fee if not preregistered
Day of Event Check-In: 9am – 11am
Event Time: 11am – 3pm
Award Ceremony: 3pm

One truck per registered owner
Trucks must be street legal (no trailer queens)
Each truck will be judged on two categories and six sub-categories
       Categories: Highest Ground Clearance, Most Jacked Up
       Sub-Categories: Best Chevy, Best Dodge, Best Ford, Best GMC, Best Import, and Best Jeep
Participants must be present at awards ceremony
No alcoholic beverages are permitted on site or participants will be disqualified and asked to leave the premises

The Well Armed Woman Friday, August 1st 6:00pm - 8:00pm Conference Room
The Well Armed Woman introduces the ins and outs of armed self-defense, firearm ownership, firearm safety, shooting skills and products for women shooters. They discuss everything from permits to holsters and they do it in a candid and concise manner. The Well Armed Woman, LLC is a complete resource without fluff or frills for women firearm owners of all ages.

Their meetings are open to any female wanting to learn more.

Join Kristi Whisner, NRA Certified Instructor and Leader of the Greater Charleston Area Well Armed Woman group, as she educates and empowers you as a woman firearm owner. 
Cost $50/person. 
The classroom training is followed by a practical shooting clinic at the local range, exact location to be announced.

All persons born on or after January 1, 1975 must first successfully complete a certified hunter education course before purchasing a hunting license. (Chapter 20-2-30a WV Code) When purchasing a hunting license, the person must present a certificate of completion to the agent issuing the license.

The course is FREE and takes an average of 12 hours to complete. Topics include: gun safety, wildlife management, ethics, survival/first aid, game identification and how to safely hunt.
 
You will enjoy listening to volunteer instructors and conservation officers pass on their expertise and hunting experiences, talking with your fellow hunters during class breaks, and getting familiar with the total hunting experience. Extra help is available for those who may need it.

To be considered, please review the following:
  • Requests must be submitted online to Sponsorships, Donations & Advertising. Written or e-mailed requests will not be accepted.
  • Requests must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to the event.
  • We can only fulfill one request per organization per year. Multiple requests within a calendar year will not be accepted.
  • Organizations must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity and be able to provide documentation.
  • Organizations must be located within 75 miles of the retail store.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
