Olytac and Cabela's are proud to announce our new series of Women's Defensive and Firearms Courses. These courses are designed for women, and taught by women. This introduction to Firearms course is designed to provide the essentials of choosing, owning, and operating a firearm safely and effectively.

  • Cardinal Firearms Safety Rules
  • Types of Firearms on the market today
  • How to choose a firearm that is right for you
  • Nomenclature of a pistol; parts, and how they work
  • Ammunition and Caliber selection • Health and Safety Issues
  • Fundamentals of Marksmanship
  • Hands-on with Training Pistols. We use SIRT Pistols to allow everyone to practice the fundamentals of marksmanship in class.

Olytac and Cabela's are proud to announce our new series of Women's Defensive and Firearms Courses. These courses are designed for women, and taught by women. This introduction to Firearms course is designed to provide the essentials of choosing, owning, and operating a firearm safely and effectively.

Topics Include:
  • Cardinal Firearms Safety Rules
  • Types of Firearms on the market today
  • How to choose a firearm that is right for you
  • Nomenclature of a pistol; parts, and how they work
  • Ammunition and Caliber selection • Health and Safety Issues
  • Fundamentals of Marksmanship
  • Hands-on with Training Pistols. We use SIRT Pistols to allow everyone to practice the fundamentals of marksmanship in class.

Utah Conceal Carry Certificate Course Saturday, December 20th 10:00am - 2:00pm  
Traveling this summer? Take this 4-hour course to legally conceal carry in 33 states when paired with your Washington Concealed Handgun License.  You must preregister by emailing Chaar Tactical at info@chaartactical.com. Looking for something fun and educational for your Scout, pre-school, home school, day camp, business, or bus tour group? Cabela's is just the place for you. We offer informative, guided tours of the store featuring conservation mountain, aquariums, and wildlife dioramas. Tours are by appointment only. Cabela's is proud to be a part of our community and support area charities and conservation partners. Each year, we provide donations to non-profit organizations for fundraising auctions and raffles.

To be considered, please review the following:
  • Requests must be submitted online to Sponsorships, Donations & Advertising. Written or e-mailed requests will not be accepted.
  • Requests must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to the event.
  • We can only fulfill one request per organization per year. Multiple requests within a calendar year will not be accepted.
  • Organizations must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity and be able to provide documentation.
  • Organizations must be located within 100 miles of the retail store.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
