This seminar includes a detailed profile of each White-tailed Deer including ecology, behavior, distribution, and products from our store to be able to hunt this animal. |Registered Maine Guide Course||December 4th-7th||8:00AM-5:00PM (10AM on Sunday)||Show Details|
This is NOT a condensed course, but a very concentrated course which offers education, knowledge and confidence to pass both the oral and written tests given by Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. You will be 100% ready to take one of Maine's toughest tests. The test with IF&W to become a Maine Guide is normally scheduled for our students at 7-10 days after class completion. YOU WILL BE READY! The first day of class, you will be given a study packet along with our 120 page handbook, which includes practice tests. We also offer a First-Aid Certification course, which is needed to sit for the exam, for those who are not currently certified. We will cover all aspects of becoming a Registered Maine Guide with the major licenses being the smaller aspect of passing Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's extensive tests. The larger part of becoming a Maine Guide rests in Map & Compass, Search & Rescue, The Lost Person Scenario, Catastrophic Event Scenario, Watercraft Rules and Regulations, Canoeing, Client Care, etc., over 4 days. YOU WILL BE PREPARED! For more information, log onto www.mainesoutdoorlearningcenter.com To register, please call Tami at (207) 290-1496.
